Information

This helicopter started its service with the Swedish Army back in 1988. It was used as an anti-tank helicopter for many years before the system was outdated.

The helicopter was incorporated in the Swedish joint helicopter unit, the Armed Forces Helicopter Wing, in 1988, and was operated in a wide fleet of specialized military helicopters.

The HKP9s were gradually retired in the mid 00's, and quite a few of them were later scrapped. This helicopter managed to survive, and it ended up at the Aviation Technical Training School in Linköping.
