Information
This is the oldest HKP 9 that is operated by the Armed Forces Helicopter Wing. It was one of four BO 105s that were used as a provisional machines as the 20 HKP 9s of the Swedish Army were about to be constructed at MBB's German Ottobrunn plant in Munich. The helicopter was used between the years 1985 and 1987 and was then known as V-78. It was later acquired by the Army and became the 21st HKP 9.
The aircraft, nicknamed "Bastarden", is a bit different from the other HKP 9s and is used by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration as V-90 from time to time.
The helicopter was retired in late-2008 and is now stored at the Aeroseum Aviation Museum at Säve Airport in Gothenburg.
