Information

This helicopter is one of very few air worthy Bell 47's remaining in Sweden. It was constructed by Agusta in early 1955 and registered in Sweden by Ostermans Aero AB in March the same year. It was the 11th helicopter in the country. Ostermans operated the machine for 15 years and then sold it to a Finnish owner. The helicopter returned to Sweden in 1984, purchased by a private owner in Ludvika. In 1990 it was sold to an owner in Åkersberga, who kept the aircraft in a mint condition and showed it at occasional air shows and events.

Tragically, this historic helicopter was totally destroyed in a hangar fire in the mid 00's (2006?).
