Information

The helicopter was constructed in 1969 and brought to Sweden the same year, purchased by SAAB AB. It was sold to Aero-Foto in 1971 but sold to Norway only a couple of years later. However it returned in 1986, this time purchased from Finland by Gävle Affärsflyg AB.

The aircraft continued its life in Sweden and was owned by a few private persons in Dalarna the last years. However the helicopter was destroyed in a crash on 22 July 2004 while landing at a camping site at Linghed, 25km north-northeast of Falun in Dalarna. At around 18 PM the helicopter were approaching the landing spot at Caravan Club in Smednäset but suddenly entered an uncontrolled spin and crashed. Both occupants were able to walk away from the totally wrecked helicopter.
