Information
This helicopter was constructed in 1971 and operated in Germany for four years before it was purchased by Jämtlands Aero AB in Östersund. It was involved in a serious incident in August 1975 when a passenger unfortunately walked in to the spinning tail rotor during a stop in Vålådalen. The passenger suffered fatal injuries.
A year after coming to Sweden the machine was sold to the Bell dealer Ostermans Aero AB, which used the helicopter in its business organisation called "Ostermans Affärsflyg".
A private owner in Visby purchased
SE-HGB in 1981, but sold it to Avia Helikopter Flyg AB in Kalmar within a year. The service with Avia Helikopter Flyg lasted for nearly a year, and the helicopter was soon retuirned to Ostermans once again. The machine was then sold to Norway (reg. LN-OTK) and later exported to Finland.
