This helicopter was manufactured by Hughes in 1976 and came to Sweden early the next year. It was purchased by the company Fjällflyg and replaced SE-HEY when it was put in service.

SE-HHG was badly damaged in an accident during a sling-load job north-east of Kiruna in July 1982, and it was eventually written off following the accident.
