Information

This was by far the most beautiful painted R22s in Sweden at its time. Unfortunately the helicopter did not spend more than a year in the country. It came from Finland in mid-2001 and left for Norway in mid-2002.

The aircraft was bought by the maintenance facility AeroService i Karlskoga AB in order to perform an extensive overhaul. At the end of the overhaul the aircraft was given the blue livery and sold to Norwegian Helicopter Consultants AS. The Stockholm based flight school Helicopter Assistance leased the aircraft for a while but it was finally transferred to Norway (Torp) on 1st of March 2002.

The helicopter was rapidly given an all-white livery and entered service as a pilot trainer. It was eventually sold to Finland, but it's present state is unknown (written off?).
