This machine was purchased by Scandinavian Helicopter Group from the Eurocopter factory in May 2004, but was dryleased to a Spanish company at once. It had spent a half year fighting forest fires before it was returned to its Swedish owner. The helicopter was flown to Sweden for a short stay before it continued its leasing career in other parts of Europe.
The helicopter liming company Laroy Flyg AB took the oportunity to hire the helicopter for a while as one of its Ecureuils, SE-JHE, was in for a 1000 hours inspection.
