This helicopter was the last aircraft in a batch of four EC 145 T2s to be delivered to Scandinavian MediCopter for EMS operations in Finland. The helicopter got its Swedish registration on 3 February 2015. It arrived in Sweden on 9 February 2015.
The four brand new EC 145 T2s serves as EMS helicopters in Finland, where they have replaced the earlier EC 135s.
On 30 November 2016 Scandinavian MediCopter changed its named to
Babcock Scandinavian AirAmbulance as part of a global branding synchronization with the owner Babcock International Group. The new profile included a new logotype, but the operation and the structure of the company remained the same.
