Helicopter damaged in landing mishap

An R44 helicopter was damaged during a landing mishap near Lake Boksjön, east of Tärnaby, earlier today. The aircraft, carrying two on board, struck bad weather whilst en-route to Arvidsjaur. The pilot elected to turn back to the base in Tärnaby, but in connection to the turn the pilot ended up having to perform an emergency landing in a nearby wetland. The aircraft settled in the swampy ground, resulting in damage to the helicopter as water was ingested into the engine.
