Norsk Luftambulanse in Danish EMS operation

On 1 July 2014 the Nordic Air Ambulance team was thanked for its service in the HEMS trial period in Karup, Denmark. The operation will now be inherited by Norsk Luftambulanse (NLA), which will operate the Karup helicopter in cooperation with SOS until 20 September 2014. Starting on 1 October 2014 Norsk Luftambulanse will commence the operation of Denmark’s new nation-wide emergency medical helicopter structure – with a total of three air-ambulance stations in Billund, Ringsted and Skive.
