Pilot injured after bird-strike incident

A military pilot was injured following a serious bird-strike incident in the vicinity of Sveg at eight o’clock in the evening. The news channel SVT reports that the bird struck the helicopter and penetrated the windscreen, causing facial injuries to one of the two pilots.

The helicopter landed safely at Sveg Airport, and the pilot was transported to the hospital in Östersund.
