Description
During a 700km journey around the Central region of Portugal to snap some helicopters of the Firefighting Campaign of this season (Dispositivo Especial de Combate a Incêndios Rurais - DECIR 2018), I had the privilege to visit which should be the most beautiful portuguese Heliport located in Covilhã, with part of Serra da Estrela (the highest mountain range in Continental Portugal) as backdrop offering some breathtaking views. Many thanks to the very friendly Pilot for allowing some shots and also for the nice chat we had in the meantime.
