Information

This aircraft was constructed by Patria in Finland. It was the first HKP 14 to be handed over to the Swedish Armed Forces Helicopter Wing from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, following extensive trials. The first flight in service with the Heli Wing took took place on April 12 2011.

This aircraft was delivered to the Armed Forces Helicopter Wing as a basic training version (one of four that became operative in 2011). It was initially registered 141045, but that code was later changed to 142045 once it was upgraded from an A to a B model. The helicopter will eventually be upgraded to a mission-ready HKP 14.
