Information

This aircraft was constructed back in 1970 and served in the U.S. Army until the mid-90s. It was converted to a civil machine by US Helicopter and was exported to TRAGSA in Spain in 1998. Its new owner used it for public service, mainly focused in fire fighting.
The Huey was purchased by Swedish HeliNord in the autumn of 2006. It was ferried to Umeå in November the same year. The aircraft was mainly used as a heavy lifter and utility helicopter in the northern parts of Sweden and Norway.

SE-HUJ was purchased by the Norwegian company Heli Narvik AS in 2008. It was later sold to Anleggsmaskin AS (in mid-2011).

The helicopter appears in the movie Farewell (L'affaire Farewell) made in 2009.

SE-HUJ was incorporated in Osterman Helicopter's fleet in September 2011, but it was soon sold to a private owner (MJ Contractor AB) in Stockholm.

The helicopter was acquired by Roslagens Helikopterflyg in February 2016, together with MJ Contractor's Bell 407 SE-JFJ.
