Information
This aircraft was manufactured by Eurocopter in late-2000 and was brought to Sweden by the owner of
Cassel Aero AB December the same year. The helicopter was put in service together with a second B3 helicopter -
SE-JEO.
The helicopters were initially used for
Cassel Aero’s seasonal activities – ice reconnaissance in the winter and agricultural works in the summer. However, as the icebreaker-based ice survey was cancelled in 2003 the machine became a wholly dedicated aerial works machine.
The aircraft was exported to Australia in early-2006. The helicopter was never registered in Australia, but was exported to Papua New Guinea instead. The fate of the aircraft is unknown (written off?).
