Information
This aircraft was constructed by Robinson Helicopter Company back in 2000. It was imported to Sweden by the Robinson helicopter dealer Helicopter Assistance in July the same year, purchased by Hästens Sängar AB. It was registered
SE-JHS (HS for Hästens Sängar) and was painted in the famous blue-white Hästens' Beds Pattern.
The aircraft was usually based at the Västerås-Hässlö Airport, but it could often be seen throughout the country, making promotion flights for the Hästens' Beds Company. The company had got an own heliport near its main office in Köping.
SE-JHS was operated by Helicopter Assistance on behalf of Hästens Beds Company for nearly a decade. It was mainly involved in sightseeing and representation flights and some night-time flight training sorties.
In early-2010 the aircraft was transferred to the flight school Svensk Pilotutbildning (SPU) in Gothenburg in order to be used as a night trainer.
SE-JHS was incorporated in EastAir's fleet in August of 2011. It was purchased by a private owner in June 2012, but remained in EastAir's fleet.
EastAir changed name to
Hummingbird Aviation Services in May 2014. The company maintained EastAir's Air Operator Certificate and fleet (including
SE-JHS), but with the new name.
SE-JHS was exported to Italy and repainted in to an all-black livery in late 2017. The helicopter obtained the Italian registration I-CCNI in early 2018.
