Information
This aircraft was purchased by a private owner in southern Sweden in early-2005. It was imported by Helicopter Assistance and assembled by the maintenance shop Aeroservice i Karlskoga.
The helicopter, which was nicknamed 'Stålkråkan' (the steel crow), was mainly used for private transports. The R44 was replaced by an EC120 (
SE-JKI) in May 2006. The new aircraft was nicknamed 'Stålkråkan II'.
SE-JIT was purchased by a private owner in Östersund and spent the next years as a private leasing helicopter. It was hired by West Helicopter for a brief period of time and was also used by Svensk Pilotutbildning (SPU).
The aircraft was purchased by
Stockholms Helikoptertjänst in November 2011. It was used for various tasks in the aerial work segment, including forest/animal census operations and photo flights.
SE-JIT was purchased by Kustflyg i Noraström AB (
Cassel Aero) in March 2016.
