This aircraft was purchased by Heli i Arjeplog AB as a replacement for the company’s Colibri (SE-JIL) that was sold to Finland in November the year before. The B2 Ecureuil was constructed in 1992 and had earlier served in Austria, Italy, France, England and Belgium. It was registered in Sweden on 5th of February 2007.The helicopter is based at the company's heliport in central Arjeplog. It's used for tourism and various aerial works.
