This aircraft was assembled by Robinson Helicopter Company in California back in 2006. It was operated by a private company in the UK until 2009 before it was sold to Finland. The aircraft was operated by Suomen Ilmailuopisto (Finnish Aviation Academy) before it was sold to HeliScan in Norway in 2012.rnrnThe helicopter was incorporated in the Swedish helicopter register in July 2017 with HeliScan AB in Duved as owner, operated by Jämtlands Flyg AB.

In September 2018 the helicopter was purchased by a private company in Västerås, and joined Scandinavian Helicopter Center's flight school shortly thereafter.
