Description

Vestlandsfly AS was established in May 2009 with the ambition to train private helicopter pilots in western Norway. Flying on the west coast, with fjords and mountains, poses a unique composition of freedom and majestic views.

Vestlandsfly says that they are not big, but they are very eager to safeguard
their clients' interests. The company offer a flexible flight training for private pilots, for people who have a job, have a family and just need to customize their flight training to suit their schedule.

Vestlandsfly offers PPL-H training from Bergen, Stavanger and Stord, utilizing the Robinson R44 helicopter type. The R44 is used for its suitability as a training helicopter and its easy to master from the early stages in the flight traning.

The main base is located at Bergen Airport Flesland, but the flight school has an office in Stavanger Airport, Sola, as well. The most of the airport training is performed at Stord Airport, Sørstokken.
