SE-JIC

This rather unique image was shot at Lufttransport’s main base in Östersund by the company’s flight operations manager as the new yellow EMS helicopter, SE-JIC, had recently entered service in the region. It is visible together with two sisters, the red SE-JCK and the red/blue LN-OLL. The red one, a N version of the Dauphin family, operated as regional EMS helicopter in Östersund between the years 1996 and 2006. The red/blue one was used as a provisional N2 during the first months of 2006 – prior to the arrival of SE-JIC. The N version was replaced by the new yellow N2 Dauphin due to a prolonged air ambulance contract with the local county council
