This is Uppsala University Hospital's new EMS helicopter, destined to replace the current one, LN-OLL. This photo was taken during the delivery flight from the Eurocopter factory in Marignane, southern France. The flight-time from Marginane to Uppsala was incredible 7 hours and 51 minutes. Piloted by Lufttransport Svenska's flight operations manager Thure Waplan the aircraft did its first Swedish stop in Malmö. After the stop in Uppsala the helicopter continued to Östersund for a crew-switch and then carried on to Tromsø, the headqarter of Lufttransport AS. The aircraft will go through a complete EMS modification and will then return to its final destination, Uppsala, later this summer.
