LY-XCA

This photo was taken at Sundbro airfield in Uppsala back in 2002. Later on the same year a lawn mower struck a rotor blade and the machine was grounded for quite a while. When the insurances had been sorted out and the helicopter had been repaired the current private owner sold the machine to a person in Sollefteå and purchased two new Mi-2s (LY-HCS and -HCT) instead. The owner in Sollefteå is using the machine to transport spare parts to lumbering machines far out in the endless forests of Norrland. The Mi-2 is a perfect machine for this purpose.
