Stockholm’s air ambulance is seen practicing a one-skid operation on a bridge in Stockholm’s inner archipelago. This is a method that is used when the crew has difficulties to find a suitable landing spot near the patient. The machine remains flying, or land further away, but the medical crew can leave the aircraft rapidly and attend to the patient.
The aircraft, SE-JUP, was the first EC 135 in Sweden. It was used between early-1999 and late-2000. The machine was replaced by the EC 135 SE-JFP.
