Description
This beautiful scenery was captured by pilot Lotta Vallo as she and her crew had leaved a patient at the rooftop helipad of Umeå University Hospital. The aircraft is based at Lycksele Airport, approx 120 kilometres north-west of Umeå, and is responsible for the HEMS activity in Västerbotten County. This helicopter was the first civil EMS helicopter to operate with Night Vision Goggles (NVG).\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nThe aircraft is currently (mid \\\\\\\'06) one of seven ambulance helicopters spread throughout the country.
