This interesting and typically 70\\\\\\\'s looking image was sent in by Mr Egon Sidelöv. The photo pictures four Libyan helicopter students surrounded by two flight instructors, Swedish Egon Sidelöv to the left and French Claude Forcade to the right. Four Swedes, two flight instructors and two technicians, were hired by Paris-based Heli-Union for almost six months to instruct helicopter flying. A total of 21 students from Khadaffi\\\\\\\'s Libyan Army were trained on four helicopters - one Swedish, one Finnish and two French ones. The reason why the Scandinavian helicopters participated was a result of the lack of avaliable Bell helicopters in France when the training was about to be initiated. Heli-Union asked the well-known Swedish Bell dealer Ostermans Aero if they could provide any machines to the activity. Osterman did so and hired this one from Norrlandsflyg during the period.\\\\r\\\\n
