A tight and rather idyllic landing spot that was chosen in order to get as close to the patient as possible. The EMS helicopter “Ambulans 998” takes off on a couple of thousands of emergency calls each year and the most of them are in the highly populated archipelago during the summer months. The winters are filled with car accidents and a wide variety of other high priority medical calls.
