This aircraft was delivered in February of 1962. It was involved in an accident four years later, in March of 1966, but was repaired and returned to service.

The helicopter spent its last time in service as D81 at the F4 base in Östersund. It made its last flight on 26th of January 1999 when it was flown to the air museum "Gotlands Flygmuseum" in Visby.

This aviation museum was gradually deteriorating, and it came to be kept closed the last years. 03421 was eventually salvaged from the museum and it was transported to Gotland's Military Defense Museum in Tingstäde in April 2011. It is displayed together with a Vertol 44 and an Alouette II.
