This helicopter was constructed at the PZL Swidnik factory in Poland back in April 1973. It has earlier been in service with the Soviet Air Force but is now owned by a private person in Sweden. The aircraft is equipped with an electric rescue hoist, capable of winching up to 120 kg.LY-HBX came to Sweden in the late-90s and was stored in a hangar at Bromma Airport, Stockholm for more than a decade. It flew on some very few occasions during that time, but eventually left the airport in a flying condition in the spring of 2010.
