Information
This helicopter was originally constructed in 1982, but came to Sweden first a few years later, as it was imported from Germany by Sterner Aero AB in 1986. A half year later Östersunds Helikopter AB acquired the aircraft in 1987. It was involved in a minor accident eight months later, when some external lift equipment struck the tail rotor. The helicopter was soon repaired and back in business.
In 1989 the helicopter entered service with Sterner Aero again. In 1990, as the company Heliflyg AB was founded through the merge-down of Östersunds Helikopter AB, Jämtlands Aero AB, Sterner AB and Heli AB,
SE-HRO became a member of the large Heliflyg fleet. Ten years later, in the summer of 2000, Osterman Helicopter's owner Scandinavian Helicopter Group acquired Heliflyg AB and united the two companies, which made them the largest helicopter operator in Sweden.
SE-HRO was sold to a company in Norway in a matter of days after the deal became official.
