SE-JCG

Information

SE-JCG was imported to Sweden in 1995. It was used by the Swedish McDonnell Douglas dealer of that time, SAAB Helikopter AB, as a demonstration aircraft for the new helicopter type. The hope was to get Scandinavian companies to purchase the machine, but the project was unsuccessful. However the helicopter met a great deal of attention when it participated in the Helitech helicopter exhibition in September 1995. Many photos picturing the helicopter while flying over down-town London can still be seen in advertisements.

The helicopter was based at Skavsta airport in Nyköping in approx a year, and was sold to SAMU Air Rescue in Belgium in May 1996. The helicopter was registered OO-EMS and entered service as "Christoph Lux 2", based in Luxembourg.
