Information
This aircraft was constructed at the Los Angeles based Robinson factory in late 2006 and went straight to Sweden after five hours of flight testing in the US. It was assembled by Scandinavian AirTech at Hässlö Airport in Västerås in January of 2007.
The helicopter served in a fleet of three Colibris, one Ecureuil and one Schweizer 300. It was mainly used for tourism, power line inspection and wildlife survey/support. It was based at Göviken heliport, a few hundred meters from the most central parts of Östersund in the middle of Sweden.
SE-JKZ was destroyed in an accident during a power line inspection at Ramsele on 18 June 2007. Fortunately the two occupants managed to walk away from the wrecked aircraft with minor injuries.
