Description

Photographed during the EMS helicopter trials in Stockholm back in 1992. Instead of the Agusta 109 the BK117 was found to be the most successful helicopter in the trials, and the aircraft soon hired as regional air ambulance.


The helicopters used in the trials were:
- Agusta 109 (SE-HGM, operated by HelikopterService Euro Air)
- AS 355E (OH-HAQ, operated by Helijet through Nordflyg)
- AS 365 (SE-JAE, operated by HelikopterService Euro Air)
- Bell 412 (N412HP, operated by Osterman Helicopter)
- MBB BK 117 (SE-JBK, operated by Heliflyg)
- MBB BO 105 (SE-HSG, operated by Heliflyg)
