Information
This aircraft was manufactured by Enstrom Helicopter Corporation in 1996. It was 16th Turbine 480 ever constructed by the company. The aircraft was ordered by the helicopter company
Roslagens Helikopterflyg AB, which was the Swedish Enstrom dealer. The helicopter was the first Enstrom 480 in the country, and following its arrival it got the Swedish registration
SE-JDA on 5 August 1996.
The helicopter carried large temporary "Enstrom 480" markings that were used for marketing of the new helicopter type, but the quality of the stickers proved to be so good that they remain still today.
The helicopter was used by a wind power company in the late-00s. It was engaged in various prospecting jobs within the company, but it remained stationed in the Stockholm-Norrtälje region. It was the subject of a minor break-in when it was parked at Frihamnen (Stockholm) on 22 July 2009.
SE-JDA is nowadays operated by
Roslagens Helikopterflyg. It is used for various missions, including flight training and commercial operations.
