Information
This helicopter was constructed by the American Eurocopter in 2005. It was acquired by Jämtlands Flyg AB via the Eurocopter dealer Michael Savbäck AB. The machine was picked up from the factory in Columbus, Mississippi, and flown to New York City by one of Jämtlands Flyg’s pilots in August of 2005. It was ferried across the Atlantic Ocean in a ship and came to Sweden in early October. It immediately proved to be a successful addition to the fleet - flying more than 250 hours during its first two and a half months in the country.
SE-JOZ was most often based at Göviken Heliport in Östersund and was used for a wide range of operations – all from wildlife supervision to tourism and aerial works.
The helicopter was sold to
Scandinavian Helicopter Center in 2018.
