Information
This aircraft was constructed in 1992 and came to Sweden as
SE-JCA the same year. It was operated by the agricultural helicopter company
Cassel Aero AB for eight years before it was sold to
Heli i Arjeplog AB.
The aircraft was leased to Norrlandsflyg in 2001 and was operating at the Vidsel Test Range in northern Sweden when it was lost in an accident. The pilot was landing on a trolley when something went wrong and the aircraft started to rotate. The helicopter was badly damaged, but the pilot survived with minor injuries.
The airframe was later sold to the US.
