Information

This helicopter was constructed back in 1978 and was operated in Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Norway before it came to Sweden. When still in service with a Hovden-based company i Norway (registered LN-OHR) the machine was involved in an accident on 19 July 1999. It was quite damaged and was transported by lorry from northern Norway to the Swedish maintenance facility Ostermans Aero AB at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm. The helicopter was entirely re-built and was in a better condition than new when Ostermans Aero had completed its work with the machine. The helicopter was registered SE-JER for trials on 20 December 1999. It was purchased by Arlanda Helicopter and painted in a blue livery with gold stripes. Arlanda Helicopter officially purchased the machine in June 2000.

Based in Stockholm SE-JER came to be used mostly for taxi and executive transports together with a few Jet and Long Rangers as well as an Agusta 109 and a Bell 407. The helicopter was sold to Wiklunds Åkeri (replacement to SE-HUC) in September 2001, but was leased to Arlanda Helicopter. The machine was returned to the ownership of Arlanda Helicopter AB in early-2005 as Wiklunds Åkeri purchased a twin engined Bell 206 L3 Twin ST, SE-JJA, which entered operation with Arlanda Helicopter in mid-2005.
