Information
This helicopter was constructed in France by Eurocopter in 2001. It was the second Colibri purchased by Polarhelikopter (after
SE-JHA) - a company that had based its activities on two Hughes 500 aircraft (
SE-HLR and
SE-JCH).
The helicopter arrived to Sweden in January of 2001, imported by
Savback Helicopters. The two EC 120s of Polarhelikopter soon replaced the Hughes helicopters. The Colibris are used for a wide range of tasks - everything from reindeer herding to passenger transports and aerial works.
Polarhelikopter was acquired by
Kallax Flyg on 1st of January 2006.
SE-JHB remained in the Polarhelikopter fleet for nine months, but was then transferred to
Kallax Flyg and provided with an all-red livery.
